een maand geledenI was there for some advice for tattoos and I received a really nice welcome from Nick and I was really comfortable when I got the tattoo from Marino. They were really nice and took their time from me. When I come back to Amsterdam I will definitely come back to this friendly place to see my new friends 🖤

een maand geledenA very small, wooden Hippo from Canada was recently ’tattooed’ by Nick. This talisman has had many adventures around the world, and is shared amongst three lifelong friends. Nick’s willingness, and kind attention to detail have made this work a talking point for many trips and years to come.

4 maanden geledenGreat place to get a tattoo, a 30 second walk from the hostel next door (Belushi’s if you’re there for the bar) My tattoo was done by Valentina and I’m very happy with it. She’s an artist, and what she does with your requests is well informed. I got a tattoo based on a video game, and she carried it out to the fullest extent while retaining her artistic style. If you’re in Amsterdam and want an impulsive tattoo this is a fantastic place for a tattoo. If you’re traveling and you’re looking for a quality tattoo, and you want a unique style, this is also the place to get that tattoo.

When I arrived the tattoo girl was totally high, with a white nose 🤦♀️.
Ridiculous!!!!!!!!

7 maanden geledenMe and my boyfriend came here for a walk in a couple months ago. Tattoo is now completely healed , with no complications at all. The line work is really good. The artist gave good advice about the placement. Overall great experience, would definitely go here again!

6 maanden geledenValentina and the crew at Port of Call are fantastic. A quirky, fun and relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Amsterdam, the art these guys produce is flawless. 10/10

een jaar geledenI want to start this review by stating that nick the manager was extremely charismatic, helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. He made me feel comfortable and happy with my decision of picking this shop.
The artist was also fantastic and has clear creative skill. However, I clearly communicated what I was looking for and a piece of my tattoo did not come out as planned.
If you compare the two photos, I communicated the saddle of the bicycle to not be filled in.
When seeing the final product, I brought this up. Nick said “The artist sometimes takes creative liberty.” This is something I didn’t agree on and don’t agree with.
Further, after bringing this issue up, nick immediately asked me if I was drinking before this because there was some blood on my tattoo. As someone that doesn’t drink, this seemed like a way to cover the mistake of the tattoo.
Again, overall this tattoo experience was great and I’m 90% satisfied with the outcome. However the way the last piece was handled left a sour taste in my mouth.
